I have been taking my pets to Valley Road Animal Hospital for over 20 years, and I could never imagine going anywhere else. Dr. Tom Sheridan is truly one of a kind. The level of care, patience, and time he puts into every single animal is amazing. He is incredibly responsive and has even reached out to me after hours just to check in, which shows how much he truly cares. The entire staff is equally wonderful. They are always quick to respond, highly professional, and you can instantly tell they do this work out of a genuine love for animals. On top of providing world-class care, they are also incredibly affordable. I have recommended several friends here over the years, and I will continue to do so. If you want a vet team that treats your pets like family, look no further than Dr. Sheridan and his team!

Vinegar/alcohol should NEVER be used in an animals ears to clean them. You HARM animals ears by doing that!

Dr Sheridan again has worked his magic, he operated on both of my dogs eyes and did an incredible job, he is a great vet you can trust him and his staff GREAT PEOPLE THANK YOU SO MUCH also my girl is almost 15 years old he is great with older animals as well

We took our beloved Raven (cat) to get spayed worried that she was very temperamental. The team got her, and from the start made sure she was relaxed. The whole process was smooth. Everyone was very professional and they all knew what is going on, so communication is not an issue in this business. Raven was released with no issues or complications.

I unfortunately came in with a stray kitten that was struck by a car on folly rd. The clerk and vet were very kind and caring for this poor stray. They did what they could but unfortunately the stray passed away. Thank you for taking the time and energy too look out for this kitten. I would recommend them too anyone local on james island.
