Air Harbor is hands down the best in town, and we're so grateful to have found them after moving to Charleston a couple of years ago! Boone (my dog) is somewhat of a regular there... between the random lumps, bumps, and tummy troubles, we keep them on their toes. Dr. Southard, Miss Gena, and Miss Robin always take incredible care of us. What I appreciate most about Dr. Southard is how confidently he shares his expertise; he doesn't hedge or leave us guessing, which takes so much of the worry out of vet visits. Truly the best team around!

Absolutely wonderful experience!! I had multiple pleasant interactions with the staff, starting with the initial phone call to the moment we left. We had a very quick visit because we were from out of town with our dog and didn’t realize we needed an updated rabies vaccination record in order to have her on the beach. We had called a few other vets in town, and one hung up on us, didn’t have appointments available until later, or had a long new patient intake process. I called Air Harbor Vet at 8am, they allowed us to walk right in, and had her shot done by 9am! They were so welcoming and understanding and wished us to have an enjoyable vacation from there. It was 50 something dollars and they gave us the tag right then to put on her collar. Now off to the beach with a full day ahead! So glad we found this vet!

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Finding a family-owned vet that genuinely cares about their patients like family is a rare gem these days. From the moment you walk in, you can tell the entire staff truly loves animals—it’s not just a corporate business to them. The best part? They completely understand how incredibly expensive veterinary care can be. Unlike the major corporate vets that constantly push unnecessary tests, random supplements, and hidden fees, this team is completely honest and practical. They present the options, give you the facts, and never try to oversell you on things you don't need. They treat my pets with so much love, dignity, and patience. If you want a vet that prioritizes your animal’s health and your peace of mind over their own bottom line, look no further. I cannot recommend them enough! We take our dog and both of our cats to them for all our needs.
